The consumer preferences for processed meat products based on choice brand priorities

Abstract Processed animal protein is typically preferred over fresh livestock products for consumption because it more stable and environmentally friendly when stored a long period. Therefore, this preliminary study aimed to determine consumer preferences processed meat based on choice brand priorities. The consumers were asked select three product brands, including sausage, corned beef, meatballs, nuggets, floss, as well the primary reason their selection. included 450 who selected by purposive sampling. Subsequently, descriptive statistics Chi-Square analysis used among selections. results showed that main of in selecting taste, quality, price order. Consumers with superior taste quality but likely consider priority decreased. ability understand plays key role developing sustainable since cost not considered concern.
